Comparing the Coredy R3500s, R3500, R750, R650, R500+ and R300 Vacuuming Robots
The following table compares the features of Coredy R3500S, R3500, R750, R650, R500+ and R300 floor cleaning robots:
The (Note #) notation used in the table refers to the clarification notes provided following the table (please read these notes carefully in order to understand better the features that come with each Coredy robot):
Note 1:
All six Coredy robot vacuums considered here are suitable for various types of household hard floors such as wooden floor, laminates, and tiles, as well as other surfaces like low pile carpets and mats.
They have a climbing ability of about 0.6 inches when moving from one type of surface to the next.
Note 2:
The 2.7 Inches smooth and ultra thin body of these robots allows easy cleaning under low-lying furniture such as sofas or beds. With these robots your house dust is nowhere to hide, and your home is kept free of hair or animal fur.
Note 3:
- All six robots Coredy considered here are equipped with a specially designed rolling main brush that is soft enough to clean the floor without scratching, but also strong enough to move tough dirt. It is an anti-tangle brush that practically eliminates hair tangling, enabling the robot to run for longer without interruption. The brush can be easily removed for easy maintenance and cleaning.
- All six robots Coredy considered here are equipped with two side brushes that are designed to sweep the edges and corners of rooms, throwing edge and corner dust into the path of the main brush and the suction system.
Note 4:
The numbers provided in the comparison table represents the maximum suction power of each robot vacuum considered here.
The intense suction power of these robots generate can pull dirt easily off hard floors and can drag dust from deep inside carpet fibers.
Note 5:
When climbing on the carpets, R3500S. R3500, R750 and R650 can automatically boost to their maximum suction power for a deeper and more efficient cleaning.
Normal suction resumes once off the carpet.
Note 6:
Though all six robots cover pretty well the floor they are supposed to clean, they do not use map based navigation. They seem to follow a random pattern of navigation that may leave at times some spots uncovered. However, this is compensated and corrected by using the various cleaning modes that are available on the Remote-Control unit or using the Coredy Robot App. Indeed, one can choose spot cleaning, edge cleaning and manual cleaning modes that allow you to make sure that everything in the floor was properly covered and cleaned.
Given the fact that vacuuming robots that use map based navigation are quite a bit more expensive, we think that the results obtained with the random pattern that pretty well covers all the floor to be cleaned, and with the additional cleaning modes available to correct or further clean the floor, the Coredy robots are definitely worth the investment.
Note 7:
All six Coredy robots considered here are equipped with anti-collision and anti-drop sensors. These sensors can detect the surrounding environment and protect the robot from bumping into furniture and falling, especially when cleaning along the stairs, balconies and other areas with edges.
In addition, there is a soft rubber attached around the front of the sweeper, providing cushioning with furniture or walls with the robot vacuum cleaner, so that the robot won’t be hit hard or scratch the furniture.
The following picture shows the various parts of the Coredy R3500 robot, including the anti-collision and anti-drop sensors. The other five robots are also equipped with similar sensors.
Note 8:
All six Coredy vacuuming robots considered here come with a Remote Control device that allow you to start the robot, schedule a cleaning, send it to its charging dock to recharge, select cleaning modes, etc. The Remote-Control device is similar for the six Coredy robots and shown in the picture below.
Note that with the Wi-Fi supporting Coredy R3500S and R750, you can also use the Coredy Robot App on your smartphone to do the same type of operations and remotely control your robot.
All six Coredy vacuuming robots considered here can return to their charging dock automatically after a cleanup session or when they sense that the charge is low to recharge. You can also send the robot to recharge using the Remote-Control device.
Note that these robots need to be restarted after recharge to complete the cleaning job, if the job was not completed when the robot went to recharge itself.
Note 10:
Coredy R3500S and R750 support connectivity to 2.4GHz home Wi-Fi for remote control and smart home integrations.
Using your smartphone or tablet, you can control these two robots from anywhere, set schedules, set cleaning modes, etc., using the Coredy Robot App.
Note 11:
With all six of these Coredy vacuuming robots, you can use the Remote Control unit to choose from six cleaning modes:
- Automatic cleaning: For regular standard cleaning of the whole floor.
- Spot cleaning: For concentrated cleaning on certain uncovered or very dirty areas.
- Edge cleaning: For thorough cleaning of edges and corners.
- Single Room (Small Room): For intensive cleaning of one single room. Make sure to confine the robot to the room by closing the door.
- Manual cleaning: To direct the robot to clean where you want, in particular to clean uncovered or missed areas.
- Max Cleaning: To request maximum suction power from the robot. Note that with Coredy R300, this mode is replaced with the Lower Suction mode used to decrease the suction power.
Note 12:
Coredy R3500S and R750 are compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant.
You can add voice control by combining with an Alexa or Google Assistant device and operate the robots using only voice commands.
Note 13:
With all six robots considered here, scheduling is supported using the Remote Control device.
With Coredy R3500S and R750, you can also use the Coredy Robot App on your smartphone to schedule.
.
Note 14:
The HEPA filter these robots are equipped with can be easily removed, cleaned and reused.
The size of the dust bin that comes with each of the six Coredy robots are show below:
- R3500S: 550 ml
- R3500: 550 ml
- R750: 500 ml
- R650: 550 ml
- R500+: 500 ml
- R300: 300 ml
Note 15:
- With R3500S, R750 and R650, you can control the robot's navigation using the included magnetic Boundary Strips that can prevent the robot to clean areas that it is not supposed to enter. Boundary Strips can be used to block door entrances or placed around areas where the robot is not supposed to enter, such the area where the food bowl of your pet may be.
- With R500+ supports Boundary Strips, but you will need to purchase them separately as they are not included in the purchase of the robot (see Amazon products section below).
- R300 does not support Boundary Strips.
Note 16:
The maximum run time for these robots with full battery is about 110 to 120 minutes.
Note that for all vacuuming robots run times can vary extensively depending on the amount of work the robot has to do to clean the floors. That is because different types of carpets, different floor plans and different amounts of dirt may require different amounts of effort from the robot and hence different amounts of ''juice'' from the battery. So, the numbers given above should only be taken only as a guide, and not for exact run times.
Note 17:
Powerful suction does not have to mean loud noise. At 45 to 65db, all six Coredy robots considered here give you maximum power for less noise, so that you can clean with less disruption to your home life.
Note 18:
Boty Coredy R750 and Coredy 500+ support wet/dry mopping, but with while with R750 the water tank is included, with R500+ the water tank is optional and has to be purchased separately (if needed, please see Amazon products section below for the water tank).
To activate mopping, you do the following:
- Attach the mop cloth to the water tank and fill the water tank with water.
- Remove the dust bin from the robot.
- Put back the water tank to robot.
- Press the power button on the robot to start mopping (or
You start mopping, you can also press the button on the Remote Control device, or the button on Coredy Robot App.
